Fishing Update

We have kept up our fishing activities lately
and we have had better success.

Preston finally caught a fish.

I finally gave in a bought a pink fishing pole and
the moment that my hook hit the water for the first
time, I caught a fish!! Preston was amazed!!!

That same day, Preston caught another fish
using Lily's Barbie pole. Apparently, the luck
is in the pink fishing poles.

Easter at the Morelands

Easter Sunday afternoon we went to
Nonie & Aubie's house for yummy ribs
and more Easter goodies. Lily
loved her new Angelina backpack!!

Before everyone ate, Lily had her own
special Easter Egg hunt! All in all, we
had a wonderful Easter!

Laney's 4th Birthday Party

The day before Easter, we went down to the
Druhans' house for Laney Druhan's 4th birthday
party. Lily, Laney & Simms had a lot of fun hunting
for Easter Eggs. Little Anna Grace and Margaret
found an egg or two as well.

Lily had a blast playing with so many
cousins close to her age.

Lily & Anna Grace were precious playing in the
hammock together!

After the Easter Egg Hunt, they blew up Laney's
new waterslide and that is when the real fun began!

Bunnies & Beaches

On the day before Easter, we were blessed with
a beautiful day for relaxing on the beach. Pop even
flew his plane and landed it on the beach for the first
time. After hanging out for a bit, he took off into the
water, lifted into the air and flew back to the
hanger. Now how many people can say that their
grandfather is Evil Kinevil in disguise

That night Anna Grace was the Easter Bunny.
Is that not the cutest thing ever????

After dinner, everyone dyed Easter Eggs to
get ready for the Easter Bunny's impending arrival.

Easter Morning: The Easter Bunny came to the beach!!!!

Lily loved all of her Easter goodies!!

After church, all of the cousins came over for
a huge Easter egg hunt. I believe there were over
200 eggs hidden!!!!! Lily & Laney were ready to
find some eggs!!

Madison Easter Egg Hunt

The weekend before Easter, we went to the Easter
Egg Hunt at Strawberry Patch Park. Catherine went
with us and we even ran into Laura and Tatum.

her friends. She & Catherine found a lot of eggs!

After making necklaces & playing on the moon jump,
the girls stood in line to see the Easter Bunny.

Obviously they were very excited about meeting
the Easter Bunny!!!!!!!

Adventures in Fishing

Lately we have taken up fishin' on the Rez
behind our house. Preston bought himself a
fishing pole and borrowed Trenton's old pole
for Lily to use for awhile.

Day One: All ready to go!
Just waiting to catch a fish. Isn't she cute?
Havin' fun!
Well we didn't see any fish that day, but we did see
a goat! We later found out that he has been
living in that little island for a year now.Day 2: Maybe this will be the lucky day!Sitting on the pier waiting with Daddy for the fish to bite.Still no fish on Day 2....maybe next time....The next weekend, Daddy gave Lily a brand
new pink Barbie fishing pole and she had
fun practicing casting in the yard.
Day 3: no fish, no pictures

Day 4: Mimi & Gran D came along for luck!
Lily had to sit and watch her bobber, but she
was a very dedicated little fishergirl.Mimi caught the first fish!! (She later caught
2 more even though Preston & Gran D didn't catch any.)And finally....the big moment:
Lily caught a fish!!!!!!!She was a little afraid to get too close to it,
but was still very proud of her fish!
