Walk in Washington Square

Last Sunday, Preston, Lily & I went for
a walk in Washington Square/Oakleigh Garden
District in Mobile with my Dad and sister,
Mary Katherine. We had a lot of fun. Lily
really like the extremely old deer statue and the
giant tree!

Thank you Nonie!

My wonderful grandmother, Nonie, has made Lily another
beautiful dress. She has always lovingly sewn unbelievable
dresses and outfits for her children, grandchildren, &
now great-granddaughter over the years and I truly
appreciate everything that she has done for us. Last week,
Lily wore her new Easter dress a little early to honor my
beloved grandfather, Gramps, who passed away last Monday
by helping my sister, cousins & I bring up the gifts at
the Mass. We will miss him so much, but cannot wait
to spend the next several decades with our wonderful family
who we feel closer to than ever after this past week.
Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and
prayers for myself and my family over the past week.
It is greatly appreciated!
Isn't she a sassy little thing?

On Friday, we took advantage of the gorgeous
azaleas at Nonie's house to get some pictures of
Lily in her beautiful dress. Of course, she had
to add in some poses of her own.
Oh, and naturally her new baby Huggums
had to make a guest appearance!

Lily's First Professional Haircut!!

Here is Lily on her way to get her haircut
by someone other than Mommy and Daddy
for the first time. Her hair had gotten kinda long.
All set up in the chair and ready to go!
She really liked the little barrettes that
Mr. Shane used when he was cutting her hair.

All Done! Doesn't she look beautiful?
She let him cut it shorter than she
would ever let us cut it. She really liked
getting her hair cut by Mr. Shane!
When we got home, we tried out different
styles and decided that her new haircut
looks precious with a headband.

Lily & Catherine

Catherine came over play a couple of weeks
ago and they had a lot of fun decorating their own
visors and popcorn bags.

After all of the art was done, we filled up their popcorn
bags and they watched Peter Pan.

Supermodel in Training

Lily loves to do her supermodel poses
no matter what she is wearing. Here she
is modeling her cold weather bike
riding fashions

This one is my personal favorite.
She is really working the runway.

Dancing Disney Divas!

Catherine, Seth & Sally came over one night
and the girls had a blast dressing up and dancing!
We will be so sad when they move away this May.

Happy Mardi Gras!!!!

Last weekend, we headed to Mobile for some Mardi
Gras fun! We went to the Comic Cowboys barn
party, the Maids of Mirth parade, and then on to
the MOMs ball. We had a lot of fun! I only have
the pictures above of the parade. Below Lily (channeling
Minnie Mouse) poses with sweet Anna Grace on her first
birthday which was the next day. Everyone was so proud
of Anna Grace when she took her first steps on her
first birthday!
