McKellar Preston Goff

I had a great doctor's appointment today!!! They confirmed
that it is a boy!! We already knew this, but its nice to have
confirmation. His name is going to be McKellar Preston Goff!
I am 17 weeks, 5 days pregnant and McKellar weighs
a half a pound now. He was turning somersaults during
the ultrasound. It was crazy! Here are some great ultrasound
pictures that we got today. They even turned the
4D machine on for some of them.
So sweet!!!!!!

So cute!

World Thinking Day

For those of you that don't know, I am
Lily's Girl Scout Daisy Troop Leader. It
is crazy how much goes on with Girl Scouts.
Anyway, yesterday we participated in
World Thinking Day and set up a booth about
the country of Romania. The mother of one
of the girls in our troop lived there as a little girl
and provided us with loads of info.
Here is Lily in the Parade of Flags!
Lily shows off our booth. We had a real gypsy
celebration dress from Romania and some
beautiful bracelets that were made there.
We served Gigosi, which is a mix between a beignet
and a doughnut. Of course they were really just beignets
that I made out of bisquits, but I was proud of myself
because I made 160 of them that morning!
Lily helped out at the booth after she went and
checked out all of the other countries.
We really did have a lot of fun and it
was worth all of the hard work in the end.

Walking on the beach

One of our very favorite things about Ocean Springs
is that there are so many beautiful places to be
outdoors. We really enjoy walking on the beach.
Here are some pictures I took on our last walk.
It was very chilly that day!

New Camera

We bought a new camera a few weeks ago
to get ready for the baby and decided to take
it to the beach and try it out. We got some really
good pictures of Lily!
Pretty Girl!
I really like this one.

Baby!!!!

Well, for those of you that don't know, Lily is going
to have a baby brother in July!!! Dr. Sams told us at
14 weeks that its a boy!! I go back tomorrow for
another ultrasound, so hopefully it will still be a boy ;)
I will post the new ultrasound pics as soon as I can. So
far things are going great and we are getting excited!
My due date is July 13th, but the doctor thinks that we
may have him sooner. He is on a mission to make sure
that I don't have another 10 pounder!

Disney World - May 2010

In May, we took our very first family trip to
Disney World! We had soooo much fun. I would
go back every year if I could. Just take a look
at Lily's very first glimpse of Disney....and it
only got better from there. We stayed at the Pop Century Resort.
It was really neat. Here is a glimpse at
just how HUGE everything was! Friday night, we rode a boat from the Magic Kingdom
over to Fort Wilderness for Chip & Dale's Campfire.
The Campfire was a blast and Lily even got to go
swimming in their fun water park. After the campfire,
we rode the boat by ourselves back to the Magic
Kingdom while the fireworks were going off.
We had our own private fireworks show on the water!
Lily & Daddy roasting marshmallows at the Campfire.
Saturday morning we were up bright and
early and off to Chef Mickey's for a fabulous
breakfast buffet!! It was so special to be able to
see Lily meet Mickey & Minnie for the first time.

After breakfast, we went to the Animal Kingdom.
It was a lot of fun! Lily rode Everest, which made her
a very brave 4-year old. We really enjoyed the Safari too!
Here is shot of Lily & I on the Safari:

After eating lunch at the Rainforest Cafe, we headed
to Epcot. It was especially neat because the International
Flower & Garden Festival was going on. There were creations
like this one all over the park:
Of course, no Disney World trip would be complete
without dinner with princesses at Akerhaus Castle
at Epcot. We met Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Alice,
Jasmine, and Snow White. Lily was just thrilled!
Sunday morning, we began the day with
another great breakfast at the Crystal Palace.
Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore & Piglet
were all there! It was fun!
Because we celebrated Lily's birthday early,
we had Mickey Mouse confetti all over our table
which Tigger proceeded to pour over Lily's head!
Some of Lily's favorite rides at the Magic
Kingdom were Splash Mountain, Dumbo
& the Teacups. She spun us so fast we could
hardly stand it, but as you can see, she LOVED it!
Modeling her mouse ears in front of
Minnie Mouse's house!
Our very last activity turned out to be
one of the best. We went to Story Time with
Belle and Lily got to be Chip!! Here is a
picture of Belle applauding Chip for
saving the day. This just really made Lily's trip!

Spring 2010

Well I know that it has been forever since I have
blogged, but that is because we have been so busy this
Spring! I have been sewing (see the above dress), vacationing,
working, and just plain having fun. Lily has been
busy too. She learned how to ride her bike without
training wheels recently! We were so proud!
Lily got a great up-do at Alaina's birthday party!
We went to the St. Paddy's Day parade back in March.
Lily and I went to New Orleans in April to see Mom,
Katy, Celia & Kit. It was a blast!!!!!!!
I will try to post more of the fun we have been having
soon, so check back again soon!!!!
